Free Community Network breakfast at St. John’s-Lebanon, Sept. 10 features updates on schools

“Back to School 101” is the topic at the Wednesday, Sept. 10 free Community Network Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in conference room one at St. John’s Hospital-Lebanon.   The meeting is open to the public and will feature back to school updates from Laclede county public and private schools as well as information from adult educational programs offered in Lebanon for continuing education. Scheduled speakers include:

 

Jeff Plake, superintendent of Joel E. Barber schools

Pat Bauer, Assistant  Superintendent of Schools, Lebanon

Heather Trusty, BSN, RN Practical Nursing Instructor at the Lebanon Technical and Career Center 

John Greer, Ozarks Technical Community College, Lebanon

Lana LeFors, Drury University Extension, Lebanon

Heather Dunn, Missouri State University Extension, Lebanon

Rita Ryan, Administrator, Bull Frogs and Little Fishes Preschool, Lebanon and

Dr. Chris Berger,   superintendent of Conway Schools.

 

The purpose of the monthly Community Network breakfast is to unite all groups, agencies, business, schools, churches and organizations to work together to improve the overall health – mental, physical, social, spiritual, economic and educational- of the county’s families.  The meeting is open to all who live, work or provide services in Laclede County. “We’ll have time for discussion and sharing of information about organizations and upcoming events,” says St. John’s Hospital-Lebanon Marketing Director Sandy Trumbo. “People are welcome to bring such items as brochures, fliers and cards to share.”
